Our Pillors

Three pillars. One movement of understanding.

Our movement is built on three pillars—Sight, Hearing, and Health—each highlighting a different dimension of human experience. Together, they reveal how much of life is shaped by invisible differences.

Sight & Perception

Core Message

“Not everyone sees the world the same. I don’t see the way you see. Your perception may be incorrect. Choose kindness, patience, unity.”

Purpose:

  • Raise awareness that visual perception varies from person to person
  • Encourage patience and compassion in daily interactions
  • Reduce judgment around visual differences, many of which are invisible

Sticker Initiative

Stickers with messages such as:

Stickers will be provided to airlines, vision centers (optometrists’ offices, ophthalmologists), and businesses.

Let’s create a visible movement of understanding that fosters understanding around sight and perception with shareable & wearable stickers!

During a corporate conference, a young computer programmer had a sticker that read, "Not everyone sees the world the same way." She wore it proudly and later explained to her colleagues why she uses screen readers, enabling her team to understand her visual requirements, and thus work better together.

Hearing & Listening

Core Message

“Not everyone hears the world the same. I don’t hear the way you hear. Choose kindness, patience, unity.”

Purpose

  • Raise awareness of auditory differences and communication challenges
  • Encourage patient, compassionate listening
  • Reduce frustration and stigma around hearing differences
  • Support hearing health, screenings, and early detection

Sticker Initiative

Stickers with messages such as:

Stickers will be provided to airlines, hearing aid specialists, ENT clinics, and speech & hearing centers.

The goal is to promote empathy in conversation and normalize discussions around hearing differences.

At a workplace seminar, an employee named Carlos wore a sticker that said, "I don't hear the way you do." Afterward, several colleagues approached him to learn more about his hearing aids, leading to a more supportive environment and improved communication among the team.

Health & Perception

Core Message

“Not every struggle is visible. Not every challenge can be seen. Choose kindness, patience, unity.”

Purpose

  • Reduce stigma and judgment around chronic health conditions
  • Highlight the emotional and physical realities of living with invisible illnesses
  • Many health challenges—like diabetes, autoimmune disorders, or cardiovascular disease—are not outwardly visible but can affect vision and hearing
  • Recognizing the interconnectedness of our pillars encourages a holistic view of health and perception, nurturing greater empathy and solidarity across our communities

Sticker Initiative

Stickers with messages such as:

Stickers will be provided to primary care clinics and pharmacies.

Promoting compassion for those living with invisible health challenges and their ripple effects on perception.

At a bustling community event, Mr. Thompson, an older adult, wore a sticker reading, "Not every struggle is visible." He lives with heart disease, which causes fatigue and occasional dizziness, but he also experiences mild hearing loss. By sharing his experiences with both health and hearing challenges, Mr. Thompson inspired his neighbors to become more attentive and compassionate—offering seats, speaking clearly, and fostering a community of belonging for all ages and abilities.

Different yet united

Each pillar highlights a unique facet of the human condition, emphasizing that individuals often face invisible challenges affecting how they perceive and interact with the world.
